IFP Makes Teachers in Pasuruan More Innovative in Teaching

Guru di Kabupaten Pasuruan menggunakan Interactive Flat Panel (IFP) untuk pembelajaran digital di kelas.

PASURUAN | duta.co — The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) continues to encourage the acceleration of national education transformation through the Learning Digitalization Program.

This commitment was marked by the distribution of Interactive Flat Panel (IFP) / Digital Interactive Board (PID) assistance to SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Pandaan, Pasuruan Regency, East Java, on Sunday (11/1/2026).

The Deputy Minister of Primary and Secondary Education (Wamendikdasmen), Fajar Riza Ul Haq, stated that through PID, Kemendikdasmen continues to realize the priority programs of the President of the Republic of Indonesia in accelerating equitable access and improving the quality of educational facilities across Indonesia.

According to him, this effort is part of a commitment to realizing Quality Education for All by strengthening access, sustainability, and equitable education services for all educational institutions.

On the same occasion, the Principal of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Pandaan, Wiwit Dwi Purnomo, said that the PID assistance has had a tangible impact on the quality of learning at his school.

“We are grateful to receive assistance from the Learning Digitalization Program in the form of a Digital Interactive Board. The application process was very easy, and technical assistance was provided properly. Since being used, PID has made students more enthusiastic and helped them understand the material, while teachers are increasingly encouraged to innovate and deliver more interactive learning,” Wiwit explained.

He added that most teachers—dominated by the millennial and Generation Z generations—adapt relatively quickly to technology, encouraging the creation of a more dynamic learning ecosystem that is relevant to students’ needs.

This was echoed by Yusron, a Vocational Teacher of Computer and Network Engineering (TKJ) at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Pandaan, who said that the use of PID has had a significant impact on coding and artificial intelligence learning.

“With PID, students become more interested in learning. In coding lessons, they can work on assignments, display the results on the screen, and then discuss them together. This makes the learning process more active and practical,” he said.

Appreciation for Local Government Participation

Kemendikdasmen positions stakeholders as strategic partners of the government in the national education transformation agenda, which is oriented toward quality, equity, and character development.

“The state cannot work alone. Education requires collective participation. Education must be carried out sustainably, inclusively, and rooted in national values. This is our important capital toward Indonesia Emas 2045,” Deputy Minister Fajar emphasized.

The Regent of Mojokerto, Muhammad Albarra, expressed appreciation for the contributions of stakeholders in Pasuruan to regional development, particularly in education and social sectors. He praised the joint efforts of all parties that have helped deliver quality educational and social services down to the grassroots level.

He emphasized that the Mojokerto Regency Government, East Java, will continue to strengthen collaboration with strategic partners to realize equitable and sustainable community welfare.
