Jakarta (ANTARA) – The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) stated that the learning digitalization program through the distribution of Interactive Flat Panels (IFP) has successfully created a more participatory and collaborative learning environment at SMASK Bhaktyarsa Maumere, Sikka Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province.
In practice, the use of Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID)/IFP helps teachers deliver materials more dynamically through multimedia displays, simulations, and the integration of digital teaching resources.
“The presence of PID/IFP greatly helps teachers continue to innovate so that learning does not become monotonous. Indirectly, this also encourages the improvement of teachers’ professionalism in utilizing technology,” said the Principal of SMASK Bhaktyarsa, Sr. Marcelina Lidi, in a written statement issued in Jakarta on Friday.
She explained that the learning process, which previously relied on conventional blackboards, has now evolved into a more interactive learning experience, where students can actively participate through discussions, presentations, and visually based practical activities.
Subject teachers have also experienced significant changes in the learning process.
Makrina Liliosa Elmi, a Civic Education teacher, stated that with the touchscreen features and easy access to various digital learning resources, explaining concepts has become more structured and easier to understand.
“The students are very enthusiastic about using PID. This device also adds references and variety to my teaching methods as a teacher,” she said.
Similar enthusiasm was shown by the students. Materials presented through animations, videos, and interactive exercises make the classroom atmosphere feel more lively and less monotonous.
One of the students at SMASK Bhaktyarsa, Venansius Juliano Gesiraja, said that using PID makes lessons easier and more interesting because they are supported by various visual content.
“Using PID makes the material easier to understand because there are many educational videos that help us. We can also complete student worksheets (LKPD) more practically,” he said.
The implementation of PID at SMASK Bhaktyarsa Maumere provides a concrete example of how technology can enrich classroom teaching methods.
With the support of digital devices, interaction between teachers and students becomes more active, materials are easier to explore, and the learning atmosphere becomes more vibrant.
